Having spent 45 years working in Supply Chain Management, I hoped to retire 10 years ago with two aims. The first was to learn to play golf, which I did with rather mixed results. My handicap was a lack of natural ability.
The second was to complete a novel, which I did and self-published on Amazon in 2019. I spent a number of enjoyable years photographing weddings and portraits for friends, and I still prefer a camera over a cell phone.
My wife spent most of her life in Tauranga so we decided to 'escape' Auckland in 2014 and we really enjoy the Bay lifestyle. I was introduced to Village Radio by another volunteer and am loving being part of the presenting team.
